Funny Name: Feelings Edition

Would you like a dinner that's fast, easy, and likes to share its feelings by reading poetry at the open mic night at the independent coffee shop? Modern Approach to Everyday Cooking (American Dairy Association, 1966) has just the thing for you.

  1. Or, boil hotdog, cut lengthwise (but not all the way through), tuck small slices of cheese in the slit, and wrap in whatever bread product you have available. Actually you would cut it all the way through these days if you were serving them to kids. I guess that's one more thing that we survived in spite of as kids.

    1. Ha! You remember my hot dog procedure. (Or maybe you just used it too? Have to admit that I didn't pay too much attention to how you ate hot dogs, so maybe we just did the same thing.)

    2. I did that too. Thin cheese slices were the best since thicker ones tended to pop out. I especially liked it when the hotdog was still warm enough to melt the cheese into the crack.
