I'm kind of amazed that she thinks that this is a meal for 6. I guess serving size expectations were a lot different then.
ReplyDeleteI think people expected more side dishes, too. We think of one-pot meals now, but old menu suggestions tended to list a main dish, a potato, some veggies, bread or rolls and butter, a big dessert, plus maybe an appetizer, soup, or salad.
