Funny Name: Beware the Cabbage Edition

Let's play a new game: recipe in Top Value Favorites (Top Value & TV Travel Employees for United Way Campaign, 1982) or slang term for a sex position involving one's cousin and maybe a head of cabbage?

Okay, I guess it's a recipe... but maybe the term hasn't made it to Urban Dictionary yet, and it's secretly both?

  1. Reading this blog is rubbing off on me. I just bought a bunch of cookbooks at HPB. Now I can make the Swedish Gymnastics club's "exotic celery".

    2. At first I was thinking that this group didn't think that fat made you fat. I couldn't imagine gymnasts eating something with a can of cream soup and a cup of slivered almonds in it. When I tried to figure out what date the book is from, I discovered that they started gymnastics in 1932, gave up on gymnastics in 1942, and basically focused on socializing and eating. I don't think that there are any recipes in here that gymnasts would eat, even though they do do some weird things with celery.

    3. I can't say as I blame people for giving up on gymnastics. I certainly wouldn't last in something like that.

"Weird Things with Celery" would be a good band name.
